MBS Professor Ian Molineux was awarded the lifetime achievement award from the International Society for Viruses and Microorganisms.
The Molecular Biosciences Department is proud to announce that Professor Ian Molineux has been awarded the ISMV Lifetime Award at the Viruses of Microbes (VoM) Conference 2026 in Prague, in recognition of his transformative contributions to phage biology, including his pioneering work on phage T7.
A professor at The University of Texas at Austin since 1978, Dr. Molineux has been integral to our department's success and reputation. We are delighted to celebrate this well-deserved recognition of his exceptional expertise and impact on the field.
